The guarantee

One year, on the stitching

Woven garments are guaranteed for twelve months from delivery, on the stitching: the work done in this building. A garment whose stitching fails within that period comes back to Satlasana and is put right: repaired, or replaced where repair will not serve.

  1. 01What is coveredSeams that open, buttons that detach, hems that come undone and bartacks that fail under normal use, on any woven garment, for twelve months from delivery.
  2. 02Why stitching, not fabricA guarantee is honest only over what its maker controls. The stitching is done in this building, so it is guaranteed by the people who did it. The fabric is made by the mill, so it is handled a different way: approved, not promised.
  3. 03Fabric: approved, not promisedFabric is chosen off the mill’s swatch books with the actual piece in your hand, and bought only after you approve it. The quotation records the mill article, blend, GSM band and care in writing, and a sealed swatch is retained, so what you receive is the fabric you approved and every reorder is judged against it.
  4. 04What sits outsideKnitted garments, hosiery and t-shirts: knit relaxes and pills as a property of the fibre, not as a defect. Also outside: damage from misuse or deliberate damage, garments altered or repaired elsewhere, chemical exposure beyond the stated care, and changes of fit from growth.
  5. 05A fabric concernA concern about the fabric itself is assessed against the sealed swatch and the specification stated in the quotation. That written trail exists so a fabric conversation is settled by evidence, not memory.
  6. 06How a claim worksBring or send the garment to the Satlasana premises with the order reference. A covered stitching failure is repaired or replaced without charge, and the repaired or replaced piece travels back to you at our cost.
